IB Career programme - 11th & 12th

We foster natural curiosity and a genuine love for learning. Students are encouraged to ask critical questions, undertake independent research, and explore multiple perspectives across disciplines. Through this journey, they develop a wide range of skills, research skills through the Reflective Project, social skills through community engagement, future-ready skills through Personal and Professional Skills, and strong analytical abilities through subject-based inquiries.

Students develop comprehensive knowledge across all four DP subjects and four cores, exploring significant concepts and grappling with authentic global issues. They understand not just "what" but "why" connecting knowledge across disciplines and applying it to real- world contexts.

Critical and creative thinking is integral to the IBCP, particularly through the Reflective Project. In this core component, students explore real-world ethical dilemmas by questioning assumptions, analyzing diverse perspectives, and synthesizing complex information. They develop the ability to approach problems systematically, think creatively, and respond strategically to challenges with well-reasoned, reflective conclusions.

Fluency in multiple languages, both written and spoken, is fundamental. Students communicate effectively across cultures, express complex ideas clearly, and listen actively to diverse viewpoints. Through Language and Cultural Studies students develop proficiency alongside cultural competence.

IBCP students approach challenges and unfamiliar situations with confidence and resilience. Through their career-related studies, Reflective Project, and personal and professional skills, they take intellectual and creative risks testing ideas, presenting research, leading initiatives, and learning from setbacks. They understand that challenges and occasional failure are essential steps in growth, innovation, and lifelong learning.

We nurture students who act with integrity, honesty, and a strong sense of ethical responsibility. Through Community Engagement, they actively serve and contribute to their communities, while the Reflective Project enables them to examine real-world ethical dilemmas thoughtfully. Students come to understand that knowledge carries responsibility and are encouraged to make principled decisions and take action for the greater good.

The IBCP demands intellectual rigour alongside physical, emotional, and social well- being. Our programs encourage students to balance study with activity and reflection, developing resilience and wholeness.

Self-awareness and metacognition are integral to the IBCP. Students regularly reflect on their learning experiences, set meaningful goals, and monitor their personal and academic growth. Through reflection in Community Engagement, the Reflective Project, and Personal and Professional Skills, students deepen their self-understanding and develop the ability to learn from experience and improve continuously.

Students respect diverse cultures, perspectives, and beliefs. They challenge stereotypes, engage across differences, and seek to understand viewpoints different from their own. International mindedness permeates our curriculum.

Beyond academic achievement, IBCP students develop empathy, compassion, and a strong sense of social responsibility. Through Community Engagement, they participate in meaningful service and real-world initiatives, while collaborative learning experiences encourage them to support and value one another. Students come to recognize their role within a wider local and global community and act with care and respect for others.
